Who is responsible

These pages present New Seed’s Guatemala Ex-Ante Impact Model. Azahar Data Insights, S.L. hosts and maintains them, and is responsible for the data the server records.

Ownership of these pages and the terms of their use are governed by the legal notice of Azahar Data Insights (opens in a new tab), which applies to the subdomains of azahardata.com.

What is recorded

These pages have no accounts, no forms, no cookies and no analytics or advertising tools.

Like any web server, ours records each request it receives:

• your IP address;
• the date and time;
• the address requested, including the settings in a shared dashboard link;
• the page that linked to it, if your browser sends it;
• the browser and operating system your browser declares;
• whether the request succeeded.

The methodology site stores a few technical display preferences in your browser, such as the tab chosen in a set of tabs. That information stays in your browser, is not sent to the server and cannot identify you.

Why, and on what legal basis

To keep these pages running and secure, to find and fix errors, and to produce monthly usage statistics for New Seed, such as page views, the number of visitors and the sites that link to these pages. The statistics are aggregated and identify no one. The records are not used for profiling or advertising.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in keeping these pages secure and in knowing how they are used (Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation).

How long

Server records are kept for 90 days and then deleted. Each month a copy is downloaded to compile the statistics, and that copy is deleted once the month’s report has been sent. If there is a security incident, the records of the affected period are kept until it is closed. The statistics are kept without IP addresses.

Who else receives information

• Hosting. The server is provided by Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany) in its data centre in Ashburn, Virginia (United States), as a processor under a data processing agreement signed with Azahar Data Insights.
• Fonts and scripts from other providers. To display these pages, your browser loads the landing page font from Google Fonts and, on the methodology pages that show formulas, scripts from jsDelivr and cdnjs (Cloudflare). These providers receive your IP address when your browser requests those files, under their own privacy policies.
• New Seed receives only the aggregated statistics, without IP addresses.

The records are not shared with anyone else, unless the law requires it.

International transfers

Because the server is in the United States, the records are stored there. The transfer relies on the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission, which Hetzner Online GmbH has concluded with Hetzner US LLC, the company of its group that provides the servers in the United States.

Your rights

You can ask for access to the records of your visits, for their deletion or for their processing to be restricted, and you can object to their use. Because the records do not contain names, we may need the IP address you used and the approximate time of your visit to find them.

Write to info@azahardata.com stating which right you wish to exercise. You can also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency at aepd.es (opens in a new tab).

Security

Communication between your browser and these pages is encrypted with HTTPS. Only the people at Azahar Data Insights who maintain the server have access to it, under a duty of confidentiality.

Changes to this notice

If this notice changes, the new version will be published on this page with its date.
